That weird blank canvas panic

You know how it feels when you have a blank canvas/page and you need to breathe life into it? Such a daunting prospect at times.

If I haven’t written anything for a while and feel the need to create I read the last thing I wrote and usually think “well, I’m not going to be able to do that again“ and put off starting. But somehow- an idea will form- it could (as with my recent piece) be a play on words for a title (all will be revealed in good time!) and a story builds from there. The bare bones are all that is needed to flesh out with some deliciously juicy words. Mmmmmmm words 🤤

so be patient and don’t ignore the silly ideas that pop into your head when you are dropping your kid at his early morning job!
