oh well, the car is covered for this sort of thing by the lease company and I don’t have a spare*, so sit and wait for the RAC. Nowhere to go. Hour to wait. What was that idea I noted down a few days ago?....

In the wait to be rescued I wrote most of one story and a strong start to another (a sequel to Six Year Old Sidney!). Feeling pretty smug about the way the day started- excited to get these pieces finished and illustrated. Every cloud has a silver lining after all. 😉
